The Republican Party of Orange County is governed by the men and women of the Central Committee. These are Orange County residents elected by their communities to represent them in their party for four-year terms.

The Central Committee meets every third Monday of the month and the public is invited to attend.

HON. WILL O’NEILL

CHAIRMAN – REPUBLICAN PARTY OF ORANGE COUNTY

Hon. Will O’Neill was elected as Chairman of the Republican Party of Orange County in 2025. He previously served on the Newport Beach City Council from 2016-2024, having served as Mayor in 2020 and 2024. Will graduated from Stanford University (B.A.) and U.C. Hastings College of the Law (J.D.). He is a business litigation attorney. He and his wife are raising two children. Will regularly shares his views on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter under the handle @RealWillONeill

Each District Committee is comprised of six elected members, who are voted upon every four years. Ex-officio members are current elected officials serving in office or candidates who qualified as the only Republican candidate after a “top-two” first round election.
