Our club’s roots go back in Orange County over 70 years, yet we are a club with fresh ideas and a conservative viewpoint! Our members stand on the Republican foundation of Freedom, Faith, and Family. We are the FRIENDLY club for Republican women “Serving the HEART of North Orange County!”
Irvine Republicans, now Greater Irvine Republicans (GIR), was founded on December 2, 2018. This was shortly after Orange County had lost all of its Congressional seats to Democrats. For the first time in history, the once very red Orange County was all blue. In response, the group formed to mobilize Republicans in Irvine and in neighboring OC cities. The mission was simple and it remains the mission today. The mission is to keep RED seats and win RED seats!
That's right! Your friends told you that we didn't exist, or that you were the only one. Well, not so fast! We of the Orange County Log Cabin Republicans are a group of men and women who live or work in Orange County, California, and who believe in limited government, personal responsibility, and a strong national defense. We are unified under the banner of equality for all Americans, including gays and lesbians.
The Orange County Young Republicans (OCYR) is an organization consisting of young professionals and political activists who are committed to a common sense approach to politics. We believe in the Republicans ideals of lower taxation, limited government, personal freedom and personal responsibility. OCYR promotes and supports the Republican Party by endorsing candidates, increasing Republican voter registration, participating in Get-Out-The-Vote efforts and encouraging our party’s youth to take a strong leadership role.
We are a group of interested individuals who meet in Fullerton monthly (on the 3rd Saturday at 6:30 pm) for camaraderie, dinner (optional), discussion of political issues and to hear a guest speaker. We also monitor proposed legislation and study patriotic subjects (currently a multi-meeting presentation on American flags). We help local candidates and host registration and recall efforts. The Club was founded in the 1960s. From our Constitution: The purposes of this Club are to promote and encourage social interaction and friendship among the members, to foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its ideals and principles, to promote an informed electorate through political education, to increase the effectiveness of individuals in the cause of good government through active political participation, to foster and encourage the activities of the Republican Party and to promote and contribute to its ideals, and, to collect, analyze, discuss and disseminate information concerning political affairs.
